When Pigs Fly — a 1–4 player co-op game about building a plane while you fly it

Build the plane while you're flying it.

One to four players. One shared cart. You grapple scrap out of the sky and bolt it on mid-run until the cart becomes a plane — or until the wolves take a wing off and you find out how forgiving the respawn really is.

Free to wishlist. It is the single most useful thing you can do for a game this small.

What you actually do

A co-op panic toy with wings

You start on a cart on an island. There is a destination island somewhere out there, and the cart is not a plane yet. That is the entire brief. Everything after this is you and your friends making it worse.

It is a co-op plane-building game in the most literal sense: a physics game about grappling scrap out of the air and assembling an aircraft mid-flight, with a grappling hook for traversal, first-person pigs who fall off constantly, and up to four people sharing one increasingly questionable vehicle.

Build the plane while you fly it

Your cart has five empty sockets — engine, left wing, right wing, fuselage, tail. Every one you fill changes how the thing handles, right now, underneath your feet. Nobody is standing in a menu. Everybody is on the deck, in the wind, hoping the wing holds.

Grapple everything

Aim, fire, pull. Yank scrap out of the air, yank yourself back to the cart, yank a friend out of a fall they absolutely deserved. The grapple is your traversal, your salvage tool, and your last chance, in that order.

Falling is half the fun

You will fall off. Constantly. Death is fast, funny, and forgiving — a short timer and you drop straight back onto the deck, usually into whatever disaster started while you were gone.

The wolves want your scrap

Wolves hit the cart hard enough to knock finished parts clean off it. Fight them, then grapple the drops before they are gone forever and you are flying home with one wing.

Every second closer, every second worse

The destination island comes into view and the run gets tighter, not easier. One bad install, one missed catch, one wolf you ignored — and the whole build comes apart at altitude.

Bring one friend, or three

One to four players over Steam online co-op, with full controller support. It works solo. It is much, much funnier at four.

When Pigs Fly — questions

What is When Pigs Fly?

When Pigs Fly is a 1–4 player online co-op game where you and your friends play pigs riding a shared physics cart. You grapple scrap out of the world and bolt it into five sockets on the cart — engine, wings, fuselage, tail — turning it into a plane while you are already moving, then fly it to a destination island before it falls apart.

Is this the same game as Adventurezator: When Pigs Fly?

No. Adventurezator: When Pigs Fly is a different, older game from another studio. This When Pigs Fly is a 1–4 player co-op plane-building game from Cloud & Clover Studios, Steam App ID 4887270.

Is When Pigs Fly multiplayer?

The price has not been announced. The game is a prototype in active development, and we are not putting a number on it until we know what the finished run looks like.

Who is making When Pigs Fly?
